Where did the summer go?
With all the end of season festivities and preparation, I have done a terrible job of keeping up on my posting. I apologize! But, I have to admit that this post will be a quick one.
Life is going along as normal as possible. Chemo #3 was no more note worthy than the previous two. My hair is thinning, still...my skin looks like I'm going through puberty...and I'm putting on weight at an alarming speed. BUT...I refuse to complain! I know how easy I have it, so I'll take the little speed bumps as they come!
DH had surgery on his knee this week, and he is recovering nicely. He doesn't seem to enjoy laying around on the couch all day, though. Something's wrong there.
MIL headed back to Montana to pack up and sell her house. We were all sad to see her go, but it's nice knowing that when she comes back, it will be for good.
The girls are anxious for school to start. I think we may have had too much togetherness this summer. They've been with each other 24/7, and I think they've had enough.
This summer has been a blessing for my family, and I hope it has been for all of you, as well.
LIFE IS GOOD! :)
God Bless!
