The Greatest Honey in the World
For anyone who hasn't heard, I have to tell you about my birthday!!!
A very good friend of mine quit a job that has made her miserable for YEARS. To celebrate, a few of us were going to have a girls' night out. Or so I thought. My DH turned it into a surprise party for my birthday!!!!!
I was so surprised when extra people started showing up! The even brought presents!!!! DH offered to drive us to dinner, since we started early on the margaritas. BUT...within a few minutes a lovely white limo showed up to take us out on the town. How cool is that? He is the Greatest Honey in the World!!!!!
We had a great time! We picked up the girls, and took them and my parents for a cruise around the neighborhood. A loves limos! They were so cute running down the hill when they saw that big shiny car pull up! After we dropped them back at Mom and Dad's, the ladies and I went to Bandito Burrito for dinner (and more margaritas).
When dinner was over, we decided we needed dessert, so we cruised the limo through the drive through at Bruster's! Bruster's was closed, but the limo was so intriguing, the lovely folks served us, anyway! I teased that they probably thought Britney Spears had showed up for ice cream. :)
My friends MS and MBH are more HIP to what's happening in town, so they recommended we got to a bar called The Station. We sat in the karaoke room. No one sang. The people in there are really serious about their karaoke! We didn't want to offend anyone with our singing abilities, or lack thereof!
We had the limo back at 12:30, which by most folks' standards is pretty early, but we had a blast!!!!! I can't thank everyone enough for being there! The gifts were amazing, but just having a fancy night out with the ladies was the best gift of all! Thank you, honey!!
Here's a picture of everyone, minus Dad (someone had to snap the picture). Thanks, Dad.

One Amazing Birthday
Health-wise, I'm doing fine. I went in for my lab work on Wed., and found out my white blood cell count was too low. Dr. D said this is not surprising, and was to be expected. To counteract that, I got a shot of some protein. The one and only side effect is bone pain, and I got it bad enough I had to leave work early the next day. But...I'm back to normal, again. (OK, as close to normal as I get.)
Still waiting on the Imaging Center to schedule my PET scan. Please, pray that it comes back clear!
I love all of you! Thanks for keeping up with me!
