PET Scan

So, I went for my scan on Thursday of last week. Nothing really noteworthy.

On Friday morning, I called Dr. D's office to schedule an appointment to get the results, and I was told that he would be out of town all this week. YIKES! I asked if I had to worry for over a week to get my reults. (That's what I do...I worry...alot.) The scheduler assured me that they would call the Imaging Center, get the results, and Dr. D would call me back. They never called.

Now, Dr. D leaves early on Fridays, so I took some consolation that IF the results were in, and IF the news was bad, they would want to get me in there before he went out of town. Small consolation.

Luckily...the weekend was very, very busy. DH and I went to an Annointing Mass on Saturday. I love going to those. I cry everytime! But this time, I think that made a few other folks worry about me. Oops. We had a lot of family time, which was wonderful.

So, I went to work today (Monday) and acted as normal as possible, and tried not to worry. (We've covered this, right?...I worry.) Came home, went through the messages on the answering machine...and there was a message from Dr. D's office. My heart dropped for just a second, until I heard those magic words...

ALL CLEAR!

A great way to spend the First Anniversary!

God has been very, very good to me. Thank Him, and thank all of you for your prayers.

I'll be going into Dr. D's office next week, possibly for a treatment. (every six months for 2 years.) It'll be nice not going in there without a lot of apprehension!

Love to ya'll!
